Exclusive Cadenhead's 'Dumpy' Auction
Updated: 21 Sep 2017
Exclusive Cadenhead's 'Dumpy' Auction - Friday 6th to Monday 16th October
We are delighted to bring to auction this truly stunning collection of vintage whiskies!
A private collection, put together over many years of devoted searching, consisting of 104 iconic 'dumpy' bottlings released by Cadenhead's.
As Scotland's oldest independent bottler, Cadenhead's have long been known for releasing incredible whiskies but none more so than those from their famous 'dumpy' series.
Scotland's most collectible distilleries, both open and closed, will feature in the auction. Amongst the lots on offer will be some fantastic 1950s vintages including examples from Talisker, Highland Park, Glenlivet, Springbank and Mortlach. Accompanying these will be no less than six 1960s Bowmore and an exceptionally rare Ardbeg 1965, that was last recorded at auction in 2008.
This is a spectacular collection, the like of which has never before been seen in one sale. Examples from this bygone era of whisky production have become increasingly elusive in recent years, making them exceptionally desirable to both collectors and investors alike. Don't miss this amazing opportunity to acquire one of these bottles, they are only going to get rarer in years to come!
