HOW IS COVID-19 IMPACTING WHISKY AUCTIONEER?

If your item fails to meet a reserve price, we still require the listing fee and reserve fee be paid. 

We will then offer you a chance to re-list the item (subject to fees) or discuss returning the bottle to you (subject to delivery charge).

There is a £5 listing fee per bottle (not per lot). Once a bottle is sold, sellers pay a 5% commission on the final sale price.

If you wish to place a reserve on an item there is a fee of £7.50 per lot.

Please note VAT is charged to commission, listing and reserve fees.  VAT is not applicable to the hammer price of the whisky.

Due to various reasons we don't accept the following items:

• Any Bell's decanters
• Cream liqueurs
• Home-made or unlicensed merchandise
• Jugs and all glassware that is not part of a gift set
• Items which could contain risk to our customers, for example liqueur chocolates
• Bottles from Copper Monument that are still available for sale
• Unofficial re-bottlings, including Gold Star Luxury and Luxury Spirits decanters 
• All unofficial miniature re-bottlings, with the exception of Perfect Measure and Drinks by the Dram.
• Un-sealed hand-filled bottlings, including Balvenie Warehouse 24 Samples
• Vermouth

Whisky Auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bottles at their own discretion.
