A storied distillery in the Sutherland area of Scotland. Despite having closed in 1983, it developed cult status for the high quality single malt it had produced, particularly a peated style between 1969 and 1973. Such was its popularity, it was eventually rebuilt by Diageo and opened again in 2021.
A short-lived brand of independently bottled Scotch whiskies from The Dalriada Whisky Company. Produced for the Japanese marker, they were created in association with National Galleries of Scotland who gave permission for some of its collection to be used as label artwork.
An former Scottish independent bottlings company, founded in 2003 and registered in Lochranza on Arran. The business was owned by David James Roberts Croll and Noriko Kakuda Croll and the bottlings mostly imported to Japan via their Whisk-e venture. It ceased trading in 2015.
