A historic American whiskey company, founded in 1870 by George Garvin Brown and his brother, John Thompson Street Brown, launching its Old Forester bourbon brand the same year. It remains the flagship product alongside Jack Daniel's, Woodford Reserve and a portfolio of Scotch whisky distilleries.
