Direct Wines

Direct Wines is one of the world's largest wine retailers with locations throughout the UK, Europe, US and Australia and includes businesses such as Laithwaites and Averys of Bristol as part of its group. It was founded in 1973 by Tony Laithwaite and remains family-owned to this day.

The company marketed the long-running First Cask brand of independent single malt and single grain Scotch whisky bottlings until around 2014, and still produces a blended malt label called Old Harry.
