Arran Icon's of Arran Series - Peacock, Westie, Rowan Tree and Eagle
This lot is a collection of the full Icon of Arran series, all selected by Arran's Master Distiller James MacTaggart.
Only 6,000 bottles of each edition were released worldwide.
Arran Peacock: The original Icon of Arran whisky, released in 2009 this quickly became a popular collectors/investors item. Distilled in 1996, matured in sherry casks and bottled in 2009.
Arran Rowan Tree: This is the second in the series and is a combination of 10 ex-sherry butts. Distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2010.
Arran Westie: Third in the Icons of Arran series, this bottle depicts Ruaraidh, Arran's beloved westie. Distilled in 1998, matured in 22 ex-sherry hogsheads and bottled in 2010
Arran Eagle: Drawn from a combination of 14 bourbon barrels and 7 sherry hogsheads.Eagles were chosen because of the pair of Golden Eagles nesting above Lochranza (Where the distillery is located). This is the final bottle in the icon's of Arran range.
