McBrayer 1913 Bourbon
This antique bourbon was distilled in 1913 with the name of McBrayer. The label informs us that after 7 years, in 1920 the barrels were shipped to Havre, France before bottling in Paris 'at home' in 1923.
From our investigation this whiskey was almost certainly distilled at Cedar Brook distillery, a long lost Kentucky distillery which was originally built by Judge W.H McBrayer. Cedar Brook eventually ceased production during the early part of Prohibition, in the early 1920s.
Bottle size of 1 Pint and 9 Fl Oz and an alcohol strength of 116 proof.
This fantastic antique bottle of bourbon is in good condition, please take a close look at the images for reference.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
