Bowmore 8 Year Old Pure Scotch Whisky 1960s

J.B Sherriff & Co purchased Bowmore distillery in 1925 and owned it until 1950 when it was bought by William Grigor & Son Ltd. This was the case until 1963 when the distillery was taken over by Morrison Bowmore Distillery Ltd. This bottle is from around that time. 

Marked at 75 Proof and 26 2/3 Fl Ozs, this bottle also has 75cl and 43 G.L indicating that it was for the European market.
