Delas Frères Côte-Rôtie La Landonne Magnum (1.5 Litre) 2009
From the northern end of the Rhone valley on the northern banks of the Rhone, the Cote-rotie (roasted side or bank) is the traditional home of Syrah or Shiraz as it's known in Australia. The ample sunshine and often scorching temperatures of these south facing vineyards are ideally suited to producing bold Syrah based wines, unlike the souther Rhone where the Mediterranean's cooling influence means it is more suited to Grenache. This is example is a Magnum (double bottle/1.5 liters) 'single vineyard' - made exclusively from grapes grown at the 'Landonne' vineyard - produced by Delas Freres.
Please note that there will be a charge for shipping two bottles.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
