Biondi-Santi Tenuta Greppo Annata, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 1958
Montalcino lies in Tuscany, in central Italy, about forty kilometers South of the city of Siena, where the term Brunello is used to designate wines of a particular quality, made form 100% sangiovese. From celibrated producer, Bondi-Santi, this reserva wine comesis produced from vinyards exlusively over 25 years, with soil composition, rich in stones and marl and south, south-east, east, north-east, north exposure at altitudes from 300 to 500 metres. After ageing for 4 years in Slavonian oak casks it was refined in bottle for at least six months prior to release.
