A rare version of this relatively unknown and young Japanese grain distillery owned by Suntory for the Japanese Domestic Market. The majority of whisky produced at Chita is combined with their malts to produce their iconic blends, including Hibiki.
There is speculation on the internet that this may be an older whisky than the standard international release though there is no evidence on the bottle/label to support this.
