Hanyu 2000 Ichiro’s Malt 15 Year Old / The Final Vintage

A fantastic release from Akuto Ichiro, this 15 Year Old was distilled in 2000, so contains the final vintage from this famous Japanese distillery, and bottled after maturing for 15 years.

Hanyu, is increasingly popular at auction, the distillery was dismantled after closure in 2000 and has quickly taken pride of place alongside Karuizawa as the most in demand Japanese whisky at auction.
