product Details

Mill Farm 4 Year Old Bourbon 1970s

Mill Farm is a brand of bourbon produced by Gooderham & Worts, a Canadian distillery that was based in Toronto Canada.

Gooderham & Worts rose to prominence during the Prohibition era, exploiting the lack of competition in the US where alchohol production was banned, they regularly traded with bootleggers and smugglers in the US north-east. They admitted to this in 1928 and were fined the princely sum of $439,744. Never-the-less, they carried on, merging eventually with Hiram Walker. The distillery had offices in Canada and in Illinois, and continued producing this, and many other brands up until 1990's.

The Mill Farm brand is long lost, however a product named Gooderham and Worts is still produced by Hiram Walker's Corby Distillery in Ontario.

This bourbon is 4 years old and was bottled in the early 1970's.
