#WhiskyWorldCup Winner - Lagavulin 16 Year Old Cask Strength / Feis Ile 2017 / Charity Bottle
Our #WhiskyWorldCup has come to an end and as promised, we will be auctioning off a bottle from the winning distillery in this month's auction.
All proceeds, including commission, will go towards StreetSoccerScotland.org to support positive change through football for socially disadvantaged people in Scotland.
You can catch up on how the #WhiskyWorldCup unfolded on our Twitter page.
And the winner is... Lagavulin!
It was the much-loved core expression from the Islay distillery that lifted the trophy in our #whiskyworldcup, the 16 Year Old. As a toast to this, we are offering up for auction a twist on this classic dram, the cask strength offering, bottled in 2017 for that year's Feis Ile festival.
This edition was double matured in Moscatel cask wood and all casks were personally selected by Iain McArthur.
This is bottle number 886 (an unbeatable football formation!)
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
