Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project #6 37.5cl

Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project was an experiment to analyse the following on their whisky:

  • the effect of different wood grains,
  • Varying recipes,
  • proofs
  • stave seasoning
  • char number
  • warehouse conditions

With 192 barrels included in the experiment each cask was bottled and released over a number of years.  This bottle is from cask #6.

Throughout the experiment customers have been able to login and provide reviews for the whiskies and over 4,600 reviews have been shared on the website.
