John Power & Sons Gold Label Irish Whiskey 1980s

Powers is a pot-still based Irish blended whiskey produced at the New Midleton distillery.

Formerly of John's Lane in Dublin, production was moved to New Midleton in 1975 when the Irish Distillers Group was formed by the merger of Jameson, Powers and Cork Distillers 9 years earlier. An early 1980s bottling, this likely contains some whiskey that was distilled at the old Dublin site.

This is a late 1970s or 1980s bottling.

Important Notice

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
