Karuizawa 1994 Noh Single Cask 15 Year Old #270 / Whisky Live Paris 2010
Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars.
This series features different masks used in Noh, one of Japan's traditional performing arts. This image features the mask of Ō-Beshimi, the Noh character equivalent of "Tengu", one of Japan's most popular and fabled goblins.
This limited release was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2010 after 15 years of maturation, for Whisky Live Paris 2010.
Produced from single sherry butt #270, which yielded only 480 bottles.
Bottled at cask strength.
