Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon 2017 Release / Batch #B517

Elijah Craig is one of the flagship brands produced by Heaven Hill, named after an 18th century pastor, often cited (although probably incorrectly) as the first man to distil bourbon in the US.

This is the second 2017 batch, bottled in May that year.

Batch #B517 won Whisky Advocate’s 2017 Whisky of the Year and was featured in the Winter 2017 magazine issue. Elijah Craig was selected from hundreds of samples submitted globally throughout the year. Whisky Advocate’s Top 20 are selected every year from a group of the highest-rated whiskeys nominated by the Buying Guide reviewers, and ranked based on quality, value and availability.
