The Last Drop 1950 Cognac / with Miniature 5cl
A spectacular Cognac from The Last Drop Distillers Limited, distilled in 1950 using one of the very last coal-fired copper alembics remaining in the Charente region of France. As was the tradition at the time, it was filled into new oak casks for about three months, before being moved to one-year-old wood and finally to the old cask where it stayed for nearly half a century.
Bottled by hand in 2010 and sealed with wax, the bottle of The Last Drop 1950 Cognac nestles in a luxurious leather box, along with a 50ml miniature, so that owners can taste this magnificent liquid before deciding to open the bottle.
One of 478 bottles.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
