Glen Grant 1948 Gordon and MacPhail 70 Year Old Private Collection / includes Experience
The third release in the Gordon and MacPhail prestigious Private Collection, this is the oldest Glen Grant ever bottled.
Distilled at the Speyside distillery in 1948, before being matured in a first fill sherry cask for over 70 years. Bottled in 2018 by Gordon and MacPhail in a beautiful decanter and presented in a stunning parquetry box.
This lot has been generously donated by Gordon & MacPhail to raise funds for the Beatson Cancer Charity, with this release selected in recognition of the foundation of the National Health Service (NHS) in Britain.
From Gordon & MacPhail:
"With each bottle we we have donated, we include an offer of an exclusive tasting of rare whiskies for 4 people, conducted by Stephen Rankin, our Director of Prestige."
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
