Karuizawa 1981 Shibari Collection 35 Year Old 4 x 70cl / Wealth Solutions
Shibari: "tight binding"
Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars.
This special edition is one of a collection from Wealth Solutions, which celebrates the ancient Japanese art of Shibari, a form of rope bondage practiced to stimulate the mind and senses.
All of the whisky in this collection was distilled in 1981 and laid to rest in two different single sherry casks. This is Karada, meaning "Body." It was aged 35 years in cask #4059 and is one of just 45 bottles.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
