The London Distillery company can trace its history back to 1807 when Ralph Dodd set up a small facility in a former Victorian dairy cold room in Battersea. The relatively young business came to a sudden halt when a court battle between Dodd and Tory MP Philip Metcalfe (who owned his own Essex-based corn distillery) resulted in Dodd closing down. Fast-forward to the 21st century and the London Distillery Company name was revived through crowd-funding which began in November 2011.
This whisky was laid down on 9th September 2015 and aged for 3 years. This 109 Cask Edition was released to support the men's health charity Movember.
One of only 28 bottles.
