Bersano Barbaresco 1992
The Bersano winery was established 1907 by the Bersano family, but the story goes that it wasn't until Arturo Bersano took the reigns in 1935 that the winery placed an emphasis of quality. This new vision heralded new focus on all aspects of the vineyards and production, with the re-planting of vines in plots specifically identified as being beneficial to those particular varieties.
This DOCG Barbaresco is made from Nebbiolo grapes harvested from the hills surrounding the village of Barbaresco - from which the wine takes it's name. The wine is typically aged for a period of about 18 months in the large Slavonian oak casks favoured by the winemakers of the Piedmont region.
Please note general condition of this bottle, including labels, fill level and seal.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
