Bersano Barolo 1992
The Bersano winery was established 1907 by the Bersano family, but the story goes that it wasn't until Arturo Bersano took the reigns in 1935 that the winery placed an emphasis of quality. This new vision heralded new focus on all aspects of the vineyards and production, with the re-planting of vines in plots specifically identified as being beneficial to those particular varieties.
This DOCG Barolo is made from Nebbiolo grapes harvested from the vineyards of Langhe, matured for a minimum period of 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks - as traditionally favoured by Piedmontese winemakers. 1992 was a fairly decent vintage for wines in Italy.
Please note the condition of the bottle.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
