Johnnie Walker Label Collection / 3 Binders
A unique lot comprising of three hard backed binders containing Johnnie Walker product labels and tax seals.
Arranged alphabetically by country the three binders together provide a comprehensive record of Johnnie Walker branding used worldwide over the course of four decades. Compiled by an employee of the company at that time they offer a fascinating insight into this world famous brand.
Binder 1 dates from the 1930s and 1940s and contains mainly standard Johnnie Walker labels alongside other interesting examples such as Connet Brandy labels from Australia and a Captain Cutlar label from India.
Binder 2 dates from the 1950s and contains mainly standard Johnnie Walker labels alongside a section titled 'Cowie Bottlings', which includes an interesting example of a Mortlach label.
Binder 3 dates from the 1960s and contains mainly standard Johnnie Walker labels as well as an example of a Glen Rowland label.
Binders 1 and 2 are generally in good condition. Binder 3 is also in good condition but the binding is a little loose resulting in some leaves becoming detached. A few labels have become detached in each of the binders, with some having restuck over other labels but generally they are in good condition.
