Covifruit Vin-de-l'Orléanais Gris Meunier 1989
The appellation of Vins de l'Orléanais - renamed simply Orléans in 2002 - held the status of VDQS (Vin Délimité de Qualité Supérieure) until 2006 when it was upgraded to full AOC status. The appellation in old and current forms, permits the production of red, rosé and white wines under its name.
It is very possible that this wine is a blend of Pinot Gris (white grape) and Pinot Meunier (black grape).
