Secret Speyside Single Cask Editions 10 x 70cl

Introduced in 2019 by Chivas Brothers, Secret Speyside packages together four of the lesser-seen and uniquely individual distilleries in Speyside.

The stable collected its existing single malt brands for Longmorn and Glen Keith and introduced new ones for Caperdonich and Braes of Glenlivet, the latter being the first official bottling from the Braes of Glenlivet distillery.

Each distillery within the collection is embellished with a key attribute that Chivas Brothers believes makes them stand out within the crowded Speyside region. Longmorn is the "Pioneering Distillery" on account of being designed by 19th century entrepreneur, John Duff, who streamlined its trade links by connecting it directly to the Glenlossie railway line. Glen Keith is the "Landmark Distillery" on account of its quintessential Speyside setting, between the banks of the river Isla and the Linne a Bhradan water pool, which means "leap for the salmon" in Gaelic. Braes of Glenlivet is the "Remote Distillery" as one of the highest in Scotland at 362m above sea level, and Caperdonich is, of course, the "Vanished Distillery," lost to the ages after having been demolished in 2011.

2021 saw the bottling of the first Single Cask Editions from Secret Speyside, a batch of ten highly limited single malt whiskies aged between 25 -29 years from these four fantastic distilleries.

Whisky Auctioneer is delighted to offer the only chance to acquire this complete set of ten single cask bottlings as a single collection in our February Auction.
