Three Barrels Three Star Rare Old French Brandy 12 Fl.Ozs 1970s
Originally named Pinet, Castillon & Co, this classic cognac producer began in 1814. Like many producers at the time, they were bottlers and not producers, but after three years in the game they were shipping bottles all over the world. At the end of the 19th century, they began investing in production and established warehouses and distilleries in several adjacent streets in the city of Cognac. In 1947 they launched a new brand titled Three Barrels. Pinet, Castillon & Co. was bought by Renault in 1963 and then Hennessy in 1973. Sadly, the name Castillion has now disappeared but the Three Barrels brand (now a brandy) is still sold today and is the best-selling in the United Kingdom.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
