Kilchoman 100% Islay 10th Edition
Opened in 2005, Kilchoman was the first new distillery to be built on Islay for 124 years. Its proprietors are the Wills family, and the distillery saw a return of the practice of “farm distilling” to the island, with its own barely fields, malt floors and kilns. Today around 25% of its barley requirement is self-fulfilled, and in 2011 they bottled their first 100% Islay release of single farm, single malt. The distillery’s first release came in 2009, and it has cemented a fine reputation ever since.
All areas of the production process for the 100% Islay take place at the distillery – from barley to bottle. The barley is grown, malted, distilled, matured and bottled at Kilchoman.
Released in 2020, the 10th edition has been aged in a combination of 39 ex-Bourbon casks and 2 ex-Oloroso sherry butts.

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
