Book: How to Blend Scotch Whisky by Alfred Barnard 2005 / Lagavulin, Laphroaig & Craigellachie
An incredible 19th century account from legendary whisky author, Alfred Barnard. In this book, he focuses on the Lagavulin, Laphroaig and Craigellachie distilleries. Barnard is best known for his publication, "The Whisky Distilleries of the United Kingdom".
This is a 2005 reprint of a copy of the original book which was loaned from the Museum of Islay Life in Port Charlotte, Isle of Islay. It was printed by Schobert's Whisky Watch and the profits were donated back to the museum.
