Aberlour 1966 Private Cask #3123
An incredibly interesting lot.
Originally bottled as a pair of casks at some point in the early 1980s, one was bourbon and the other was sherry. This is the later.
Gifted to family, this is believed to be the only surviving bottle.
Although there is little information on the label, this looks both sherry casked and cask strength.
Matured for around 15 years, possibly longer, this could be considered a very interesting precursor to the A'bunadh.
We get a lot of unique products here at Whisky Auctioneer... this may truly be one of a kind.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
