product Details

Karuizawa 1977 Noh Single Cask 32 Year Old #4592

We are very excited to offer this bottle within our exclusive Karuizawa auction which runs from Wednesday 5th April to Monday 17th April.

Karuizawa produced outstanding whiskies, many of which have received international acclaim. They have released almost 300 single casks which are becoming increasingly rarer and rarer as demand soars.

Bottled at cask strength exclusively for Kamiasobi, a Japanese theater group set up to make Noh genre performances more accessible to a greater audience. This label illustrates the Noh character, Heita, a battlefield hardened warrior central to the popular Shuro-Noh play, Shiroheita.

This limited release was distilled in 1977 and bottled in 2010 after 32 years of maturation.

Produced from single sherry butt #4592, which yielded only 190 bottles.

Bottled at cask strength.

Important Notice

We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.

Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
