Tesseron Extreme Cognac 1.75 Litre
A truly stunning decanter of one of the finest expressions of the Tesseron Cognac range. It is made with eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne region using Ugni Blanc, Folles Blanche and Colombard grapes.
Founder Abel Tesseron purchased his family’s estate in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente in the late 19th century. Here he slowly began producing eaux-de-vie which he would stock-pile in a 12th century crypt located deep underneath the domain. Word of Tesseron’s high-quality wines soon spread and he would go on to sell his stock for blending to some of the biggest names in cognac at the time. But it wasn’t until 2003 when the fourth generation of the family business decided to bottle under their own name. Today Tesseron is one of the highest regarded producers in cognac and their portfolio only includes XO aged wines and older. As a reminder of their past, founder Abel Tesseron’s face is featured in the company logo.
This lot will include a two bottle shipping fee.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
