Compass Box Last Vatted Grain
On the final day before the 2009 Scotch Whisky regulations were enacted (22/11/2009) CompassBox released both this and the "Last Vatted Malt". From that day forward the word "Vatted" was no longer legitimate and has been replaced with "Blended". So now Blended Malts and Blended Grains are the acceptable nomenclature.
This is a "vatting" of 42 year old Invergordon, 29 year old Carsebridge, 20 year old Port Dundas and 14 year old Cameron Bridge - thus, this whisky is another breach of EU whisky law (Spirit Drink Regulation 110/2008, Reg.12.3) preventing the disclosure of constituent whiskies within a blend.
Oh those tyrants at Compass Box. Keep it up, we say!

Please note that there is no box with this lot.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
