Locke's 2000 Grand Crew 9 Year Old Single Cask #696
A single malt whisky distilled at Locke's distillery, Kilbeggan. This was the first whisky to be transferred between Kilbeggan and Dublin via the Grand Canal for over 50 years. The Grand Canal was closed to commercial traffic in 1959, open only to heritage boats in the years that followed. This special bottling for the Irish Whisky Society was a symbolic celebration of the former distillery-serving canal on the 50th anniversary of its closure.
We would recommend viewing/close inspection prior to placing any bids. If this is not an option and you have questions beyond the offered description and images, please contact us for a more in-depth condition report. Otherwise lots will be sold as seen in the images.
Please note: Due to the various ages of bottles and their seals, condition of liquid is at the buyer's discretion and no claim can be lodged against failure/leakage in transit.
