There is under one week to go until the official release of Glenfiddich's Spirit of Speyside 2020 Distillery Edition in an exclusive charity auction hosted by ourselves at WhiskyAuctioneer.com from 17 - 22 June 2020.
In celebration, we are offering ten whisky lovers the opportunity to taste a sample dram of this special Speyside spirit which is limited to a 450 bottle release!
To get your hands on a dram of this limited edition whisky, all you have to do is send the most interesting question that you would like to ask Glenfiddich's Global Brand Ambassador, Struan Grant Ralph - whether it be about the release or more widely about Glenfiddich Distillery and the award winning single malt that is produced there.
Send your question to promotions@whiskyauctioneer.com by 23:59 (BST) Sunday 14 June to enter. After 23:59 (BST) 14 June 2020 the valid submissions will be gathered and anonymously reviewed by a Whisky Auctioneer representative who will select ten questions to be forwarded to Struan Ralph to answer. If you're question is selected you will receive a sample dram of this limited edition Glenfiddich whisky!

GLENFIDDICH 2007 SPIRIT OF SPEYSIDE 2020 DISTILLERY EDITION
Handpicked by Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman, this special liquid spent 13 years maturing in the darkness of Glenfiddich’s Warehouse 26. Finished in a single, second fill sherry cask, Glenfiddich Spirit of Speyside Distillery Edition 2020 has been bottled at the unusually high strength of 65.07% ABV.

Nose: Rich, vibrant and zesty. A few drops of water reveal orange oil and vanilla oak aromas complemented by layers of beeswax, polished sandalwood and dried bracken
Taste: Lively, silky smooth and incredibly sweet with a rich citrus and cinnamon-infused apple fruitiness
Finish: Succulent sweet fruit unfolding into a long-lasting oakiness
Brian and Struan recommend adding a drop or two of water to this unique whisky to ‘open’ up the flavours and bring down the ABV a touch.

For the first time in its 21 year history, the annual Spirit of Speyside Festival, which attracts whisky enthusiasts from all over the world, has been cancelled in light of COVID-19. To show support to their local community, Glenfiddich, are releasing 450 bottles of Glenfiddich 2007 (Cask No. 25426) Spirit of Speyside Distillery Edition 2020. Hand-selected by their Malt Master Brian Kinsman, the bottles are being auctioned in an exclusive charity auction at WhiskyAuctioneer.com from 17 - 22 June 2020, with all proceeds going to local Speyside causes hard-hit by COVID-19: Moray Food Plus, Keirans Legacy and NHS Grampian.
