The final selection in our Top 20 for 2020, uncovers some hidden gems at accessible prices you can find in our current auction.  The fun of auctions is in the thrill of the hunt and discovering lots that are flying under the radar, but to help you out we've made a bit of a start. Each selected whisky is (at the time of writing) sitting with current bids below £500.


Caol Ila 29 Year Old Cadenhead's for The Ben - Charity Lot

A singular whisky this is Bottle #1 of 1 of a 29 year old Caol Ila which has been bottled and generously donated Wm. Cadenhead in support of The BEN.


Port Ellen 1978 Scoma 22 Year Old

This is an independent bottling of the incredibly popular Port Ellen. Distilled in 1978 and bottled 22 years later in 2002 by SCOMA. It is one of only 388 bottles. 


Ardbeg 1974 Gordon and MacPhail / Meregalli Import

This spectacular Ardbeg was distilled in 1974 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in 1996. The whisky was imported to Italy via Giuseppe Meregalli, who became their exclusive Italian distributor in the mid-1980s and remain so today.


Milk and Honey Israel's First Single Malt Whisky


Distilled on 14th January 2014, this 3 year old whisky has been matured in 225 Litre virgin American Oak casks, before being finished in ex-Bourbon wood. The release comprises of 391 bottles in total, the first 100 of which were sold within an exclusive auction here at Whisky Auctioneer in 2017. Each bottle comes individually numbered, complete with presentation box and certificate.


Glen Grant 1972 Whisky Fair 36 Year Old

Distilled in May 1972, this amazing Glen Grant was bottled in January 2009 for German independent bottlers, the Whisky Fair. One of 209 bottles.
