An unusual old Highland malt whisky, produced by Wm. Teacher & Sons especially for the celebrated Scottish review comedy act, "Scotland the What?" which ran from 1969 to 1995.
Set in the fictional Aberdeenshire village of Auchterturra, the malt has been sourced from the ostensibly neighbouring, non-fictional village of Rhynie - home to Ardmore distillery...
A malt whisky distillery located in the Highland region of Scotland. It was built by Adam Teacher at the end of the 19th century in order to service the blending needs of his family company, Wm. Teacher & Sons and is today the distillery is part of the portfolio Suntory Global Spirits.
