A former Swedish single malt distillery that operated between 2010 and 2013. Its owners then tried unsuccessfully to move the operation to Scotland and it has never re-opened. Its whisky was only officially bottled twice, however its remaining stock was bought by Bergslagens Destilleri in 2016.

A contender for shortest-lived Speyside distillery, opened by Arthur Bell & Sons in 1975 and operational only until 1993. The distillery was intended to increase provision for the company's blends but its acquisition by Guinness in 1985 eventually saw it deemed surplus to requirements.

An English whisky distillery that was founded in Oxford in 2015 by Still on the Hill Ltd. Specialising in distilling ancient heritage grains (rye, wheat and barley), it operated two custom-built pot stills and 40-plate column stills. In 2024 it was closed and the operation relocated to Yorkshire.

A former Lowland grain distillery that was one of the founding members of the Distillers Company in 1877. Its license was transferred to Scottish Grain Distillers in 1966 and it operated under their management until its closure in 1983. It was then used by Diageo as cooperage until 2011.

The original production facility of Heaven Hill Distilleries, located in Bardstown, Kentucky. It was founded by the Shapria brothers in 1935 and operated for much of the 20th century until it was lost in a devastating fire in 1996. It is still used by the company as a warehousing operation.

A former distilling giant located within the city of Glasgow and at one point the largest distillery in Scotland. Built in 1811, it was one of the grain distilleries that founded the Distillers Company and over the years was a key component in blends such as White Horse and Johnnie Walker.
