The second and larger of the two Kentucky distilleries tasked with production of the Jim Beam brands. It was originally built in 1933 as Churchill Downs, before being acquired by Jim Beam in 1954. Booker Noe was employed as its master distiller from 1960 until her retired in 1992.
An American whiskey company originally established in Illinois by Harry Blum in 1947 before being sold to The American Tobacco Company in Delaware in 1967. It was renamed Jim Beam Brands Co in 1988 to reflect its wider portfolio after acquiring National Distillers the year prior.
