Caol Ila
By volume the largest single malt producer on the isle of Islay. It is part of the extensive Scotch whisky holdings of Diageo who, in addition to marketing its peated single malt, have also assigned it as one of the four regional brands home of the Johnnie Walker blends.
Old & Rare
A premium line of single cask Scotch whisky bottlings inroduced by Douglas Laing & Co in 2001. It was reserved for the company's best stocks and this ethos has been retained by Hunter Laing & Co which acquired the rights to the brand in 2013 and still produces it today.
Hunter Laing & Co
A whisky company established in 2013 by Stewart Laing who had previously co-managed Douglas Laing & Co with his brother, Fred. The two decided to divide the company's assets between them, with Stewart retaining the Old Malt Cask and Old & Rare brands. The company opened Ardnahoe distillery in 2016.
