The "Silver Cap" series from Samaroli are some of the most highly-prized bottles in history. They were all bottled in 1982 and alongside this 27-year-old Glen Grant is a legendary 1966 vintage Tormore and the 1967 Laphroaig, considered by many to be the finest whisky ever bottled.
It is not stated on the label, but this is a 1955 vintage, and was bottled by R.W. Duthie on behalf of Samaroli. They were long time partners until the early 1990s.
One of the biggest names in Scotland's Speyside region, currently under Italian ownership by the Campari Group. Opened in 1840 by James and John Grant, it has one of Scotch whisky's longest-running single malt brands and played a key role in the emergence of the category in the 20th century.
An iconic Italian importer and independent bottler, founded in 1968 by Silvano Samaroli. The company is credited with marketing some of the finest single cask whiskies of all time and is revered for its pioneering approach to presentation and label design.
