The production home of the world-famous Jack Daniel's brand of Tennessee whisky. It is famously located in Lynchburg, Tennessee which is notable for being part of a "dry county," meaning it can make but not sell its whiskey locally. It is currently owned by Brown-Foreman Corporation.
The world's best-selling American whiskey brand, produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee at the Jack Daniel distillery using the famous Lincoln County Process of charcoal-mellowing. First introduced in 1875, it has been part of the Brown-Foreman Corporation portfolio since 1956.
Distillery Bottling is a term used to define a whisky bottled by the company that produced it, using the official branding of the distillery itself. This is also known as an "official bottling" or sometimes shortened to OB.
