An Island malt whisky distillery on the remote Hebridean Isle of Jura. Despite being closed for the majority of the 20th century, its was re-opened by Charles Mackinlay & Co in the 1960s and is today part of the Alliance Global Group via its Whyte & Mackay division.
A trading named used by Hunter Laing & Co to bottle its Hepburn's Choice and Distiller's Art brands of independent single cask Scotch whiskies. It was first introduced in the 1970s by Douglas Laing & Co to market export blended Scotch brands, also appearing on its Douglas of Drumlanrig labels.
