A former Japanese whisky distillery that was built by Sanraku Shuzo Co and started distilling malt whisky in 1958. It was later transformed into a grain distillery with the installation of a Coffey still in 1969. Having closed in the 1980s, bottlings of its single grain are in incredibly rare.
