Macallan Robert Burns Semiquincentenary Bottling
A near-mythical bottle of Macallan released to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Scotland's National Bard, Robert Burns (1759 - 2009).
This very limited release was drawn from two casks chosen by Bob Dalgarno, one from 1997 and one from 1998, both cask numbers #1759.
Only 250 bottles of this Macallan were made available and the bottle was originally presented in a specially commissioned box featuring the image of Robert Burns and also included a map of 'Burns Country' and a Burns poem.
Please note: These bottles were sold unsealed by the distillery. Whisky Auctioneer will not offer for sale bottles that were originally sealed and no longer are. However, in instances like this will take every effort to understand the provenance in order to authenticate the liquid.
