The oldest single malt whisky distillery in Japan, founded in 1923 by Shinjirō Torii. It is still owned by his company today, now known as Suntory, and its single malt which was bottled for the firs time in 1984 is hugely sought-after. It also provides fillings for blends such as Hibiki.

Beam Suntory
The former name for the US-based spirits division of Suntory Holdings. It was created in 2014 following the acquisition of Beam, Inc. by the Japanese multinational and managed a portfolio fo brands in Europe and North America. It was renamed Suntory Global Spirits in 2024.
