Macbeth

Introduced in 2023, the Macbeth collection is a collaborative project devised by whisky company, Livingstone Rare. A sister operation to the Burgess Studio design agency, the company was created in order to pursue unrealised projects from its dealing in the whisky industry. Macbeth was its first.

The whiskies are produced in collaboration with Elixir Distillers (who provided and bottled the casks), Dave Broom (who wrote the tasting notes) and Quentin Blake (who drew the label illustrations). Featuring 42 whiskies, they are divided between six series: The Leads, The Thanes, The Ghosts, The Witches, The Murderers and The Household. Each bottle was released across five "acts" between 2023 and 2027.
