Alexander Muir & Son

Established in 1993, Alexander Muir & Son was a whisky company founded by Ian Jerman and Sir James Ackroyd and is still owned by the latter today. Both were later part of an investment group that acquired the Speyside distillery in 2000.

The company bottled a number of whisky brands including the Scott's Selection single malt range, King's Crest blends and the Rutherford ceramic decanter series.
