Fèis Ìle

Fèis Ìle, also known as the Islay Festival of Music and Malt, is an annual celebration of Gaelic music and culture held on Islay in late May and early June. It was inaugurated in 1985 with the establishment of The Islay Festival Association in order to drive tourism to the island.

The island's famous malt whisky industry is now an integral part of the event and open days are held at each distillery, all of which produce exclusive and sought-after bottlings to coincide.
